überBURBS LLC  is a petite consultancy focused on marketing, product/property management,

and design-thinking (architectural design projects are our sweet spot). With years of creative problems solving in many industries including retail, nonprofit, high-tech, cable/communications, finance, media/entertainment, design, and education, we see things differently.

We know how to roll up our sleeves and get the job done - often saving our clients money because of our productivity, industrious nature, and experience. No frills. Just Work.

Background: Our name is a combination of the word "uber" which in German means an outstanding kind of thing or person and the word "burbs" which is shorthand for suburbs. The word burbs is used to denote a sense of peace and balance - similar to how one might understand the Chinese word "feng shui" (the art of arranging buildings, objects, and space in an environment to achieve harmony and peace). So together, it represents an outstanding sense of balance. Our goal is to have all of our project have a balance.

Client List: Denver Center for International Studies (DCIS) Foundation, SANN Properties (residential design), Encore International/Beijing, Starz Inc., Fiserv Investment Support Services, DI Graphics, Chipotle, The Cable Center, N2BB, Studio H Creative, Jeppesen, Smart Colorado, City of Longmont, Jingsu Cable, TRowe Price, National CineMedia, Allstate, Time Warner, DISH Network, CCTV/China, Cisco Systems, Colorado Intellectual Property (Inn at Court), University of Denver Executive Education, and a variety of local nonprofits.

Sampler: überBURBS LLC has had a variety of business clients. One such client was working on a concept to develop a new mixed-use retail space that would include a brew-pub, gallery space, music venue, and casual dining restaurant. Research on suburban beliefs and attitudes was needed to help garner interest from an investor group that was concerned about a suburban location for such a concept. überBURBS LLC's research found that the word "suburbs" is defined broadly, and to many, it is seen as a "state of mind" that captivated and intrigued millions of people since its growth in the early 1960s. Although it is now commonplace to "poke fun" of the suburbs, überBURBS LLC's research validated that 96% of the people that reside in the suburbs consider it a good or excellent place to live, debunking the notion that the suburbs are not appealing. The research results strongly suggested that suburbanites are very interested in staying close to home when considering culinary, art, and entertainment experiences. These findings, along with a unique positioning strategy, helped secure start-up capital for their client. (Source: Suburban Living Survey, 2017, N=93, Meier Conley, T. and Ekman, C., copyrighted content, do not use without written permission)

LEGAL NOTICE: The mega-disruptive, zillionaire ride-share company called "UBER" has nothing to do with this firm, and, although we are a registered trademark with the federal government, they continue to use our name as a hash tag on Twitter. We asked them not to, and they ignored us. Go figure.
